£399,970 Reaching Communities Fund ~ Whoop To Us

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the High Street Centre Ltd has been successful with our application to fund a new project.  The grant is for £399,970 from Community Fund – thanks to all the lottery players – we are one of the good causes that has received support.

The new project, called Stronger Together, Helping Others will commence in April 2023 and will support local adults over the next 4 years.  The funding will allow us to continue some of the Stronger Together groups and also expand the activities and support that we can offer.  Our aim is to match local people to local activities (always working at their pace) and to facilitate friendships and a feeling of being more connected in the local community to reduce isolation.

Anyone interested in accessing our services will need to book a 1:1 with Nicola – we always include a cuppa – and guarantee a warm, friendly welcome!  We look forward to continuing to work with existing beneficiaries and look forward to welcoming some newcomers.
